A spontaneous photoshoot for local swimwear brand Love on Louise at Caloundra’s retro gem, Rainbow Fuel, sparked some unexpected business-to-business networking recently.

Love on Louise owner Taylor Edmunds, a Tasmanian transplant to Caloundra who hand-sews every piece of her swimwear, took models Nellie Strickland and Brigette Nolle for a quick photoshoot and shared the snaps online.

Inspired, a Rainbow Fuel representative staged his own photoshoot at the Bulcock Street Bazaar (pictured), though it was not quite as polished as Love on Louise’s aesthetic.

A Rainbow Fuel staff member did his best to put his best modelling foot forward.
But his “modelling” efforts fell short of the polished Love on Louise crew.

The fan even sent a text message to the Bulcock Street Bazaar, where the bespoke swimwear brand is sold, to underline his solidarity.

Ms Edmunds said the Love on Louise brand started three years ago in Tasmania with the intention of creating a safer space for women and their bodies.

“My brand provokes a sense of self and being able to just be fully confident in yourself – even at the fuel station,” she said.
