Step right up to the Bulcock Street Bazaar – where over 20 vintage vendors, emerging bands, an eclectic mix of quirky finds, and now, killer coffee, converge to create an iconic experience for 4551 locals.

Bazaar owner, Al Jones, recently opened an artisan coffee shop, Sip Happens, to complement the eclectic array of records, multi-vendor sourced clothing and collectibles up for grabs at 2/61 Bulcock Street Caloundra.

Al said the Bazaar was a “living breathing entity that changes week to week” with a constantly re-stocked array of Y2K, streetwear, sportswear, band merch, surfwear, skatewear, 50s-00s, glam, boho and indie on offer.

“We have 20+ different small businesses operating under our roof with some ultra rare records, 1980s surf pieces, band gigs, album launches, and even comedy in store periodically,” he said.

The Bazaar started with clothing, expanded into records and has now added Sip Happens as the cherry on top.

Sip Happens opens at 6:30am each day, serving up a range of hot and cold beverages.

Al said the unique name was brewed up during a caffeine-fuelled brainstorming session.

“Sip Happens” is a name that deserves a standing ovation—preferably while holding a cup of coffee – it perfectly encapsulates those moments when life throws you a curveball, and all you can do is take a sip and smile.

“You know how they say great ideas are like espresso? They come to you quick, pack a punch, and sometimes leave you a little jittery.

“After all, in the world of coffee, just like in life, when things get messy, you just have to embrace it – sip happens!”

With a growing fanbase across the 4551 postcode, Al said the Bazaar looked forward to Bulcock Street’s renaissance as a village heart.

“We look forward to this area continuing to thrive as an activated and ever-evolving streetscape that caters to all ages and takes advantage of being a genuine high street that has world class beaches within walking distance,” he said.
